80% of these delays are in fact due a strange problem, when the action tries first to do a network connection (usually to network stations no longer avaiable).
First try unplugging the network connection and if this solves this delays, try WireShark, start it when you right-click and it will show you the problem, then delete this entry from registry and voila!

Great advise disabled all except windows , rebooted the enabled one at time till it locked up , disabled this item and enabled all others , rebooted and all ok now. thanks for advice.

I have 2 items from NAV that I can not disable and which seem to be causing my right click problem which brings up a MS error report box.
Any ideas on how to disable those items?
