I had lost autoplay on both my DVD's PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-215 - ATAPI DVD A DH20A35 after a severe infection repair with cmbpfix.exe.
Using autofix.exe from microsft http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=c680a7b6-e8fa-45c4-a171-1b389cfacdad&displaylang=en
I was able to restore the function on the Atapi but not the pioneer. In desperation I downloaded a bios upgrade for the drive and flashed the rom. Not as difficult as it seems. The software looks after itself. After resetting my machine I again ran autofix. The drive showed a fault and I corrected it by asking autofix to repair the drive. After a further reset of the computer Vola!! Aautoplay back on both drives.
Now neither of the drives will read a DVD data disk I have. But that’s another challenge.
It sounds a bit frightening but take your time and it is much safer than poking around in the registry
Hope this helps

Well I have an autoplay window popping up every few seconds. It doesn't say which drive it is associated with, and is very disruptive, especially when I'm trying to do anything on my computer.
This tool didn't fix it, even though I scanned all the drives.

I get the same resulting log file as you have in the last screen shot...
Service (Silent)
Shell (Deaf)

Did you ever figure out how to fix it after the Microsoft tool gave up with that result? Thanks!
