I agree – can you block someone & have the message bounce back to let them know they are blocked? Same issue here, stalking ex!

I don't see what is so good about the emails not getting bounced back and just being deleted by yahoo.
If they were bounced back, chances are that the spammers database would delete your name/email address and not pass it on to others and others and others….

Does anybody else think that is the way the system works? IS this the way the system works?

Eventually spammers would keep getting rejections from the email address and give up, right?

Why not just reject the email and let the scammers know that they are not welcome and can get stuffed!

you mentioned that when a message is blocked, the email does not bounce back to the sender and they will never know what happen. What if I WANT to send them an AUTOMATIC message every time they send me an email. My ex wife is send me Viagra links because i am having another child with my current wife. Please help !!!!!!!

@Doina: You can't get a virus simply by opening an email. You have to physically click on any attachments that the email contain. THAT will give you virusus. I always show the preview pane below my inbox so that I can highlight the email address and copy and paste it into my spam blocker.

Most of the scams will say a foreign name or it will say FEDX. Or it will say hello at the beginning. Its usually a strange greeting. All I do is delete as I go down the list

But…that means to open the mail.Because if you do that without opening, it will say "The selected message is still loading.Please wait a moment and try again".Don't you risk getting viruses if you OPEN the mail(from de spam folder) ? Am i missing something?

Easy…right click on the message and select "View Full Headers" then look for the address next to the "From" field.

Unfortunately, I don't see a better way to do this with selecting multiple messages.

YEAH! Same as Miriam Umpleby : how do we? You can't add the address if you didn't open the email first and that could mean VIRUSES OR SPYWARE OR…How can we block senders or domains without opening emails or adding them ONE BY ONE in the block list? How can we block MULTIPLE senders or domains just by checking their emails? HOW???? ((( I'm sick and tired of SPAM.I NEVER check the "i want to receive offers from partners…","i agree to give my informations to third part…" box. NEVER! Still get TONS of spam emails.
